There's a lawsuit for that

AT&T is suing Verizon over ads that allegedly deceive one-fourth of consumers into thinking that AT&T doesn’t offer much wireless service nationwide, whereas the truth is just that it doesn’t offer much 3G service nationwide. The “There’s a Map for That” campaign cleverly plays off of “There’s an App for That.” Coverage, including a copy of the complaint, here. The coverage is largely skeptical, despite AT&T’s claim that it has copy tested the ads and found that they deceive one-quarter of consumers; the commentators think that Verizon might benefit from further publicity for its admittedly larger 3G network.

We all know that AT&T service is now on a plummet but we also need to settle the facts first and see the side of AT&.

Updates: ATT had recently released a statement why they are suing Verizon. May the "there's a misinterpretaion for that that” image help you to understand better why AT&T is having a boiling-point over the matter.

Hint: The conflict is about not including AT&T’s Zedge 2.5G on the picture :D

Flame-on!
