Apparently
several people thought that
Neiman Barkus was a good name for a pet store (see also the
Neiman Barkus store at the
Canine Hilton in Texas, which might have some extra trademark problems) and the
Pampered Pooch store, whose slogan is "A Neiman Barkus for your pooch!"). Neiman Marcus is suing
at least one of them. Neiman Marcus sells $750 Gucci pet carriers, so the goods and services may overlap a bit.
What about "Needless Markup" as a name for a store?
