New short paper on hybrids and remixes

    Hi, I'm here via a link on metafandom. This looks like the start of a great book - I also drew a mental connection between the Harrway cyborg and the fanfiction author. I appreciate that you haven't evaded the fact of fandom's investment in the commercial sphere. It can be all to tempting (to me at least) to see ourselves as 'pure', post-capitalist communities, but of course the cyborg is never 'pure'. I look forward to updates.
